Lower Manhattan Tour

Lower Manhattan Tour

From a Dutch trading post to a world financial capital, it all started with Dutch colonists trading with the island’s native inhabitants, reaching inward for a very rewarding fur trade. We will stroll through the ancient streets of Manhattan’s Financial District and explain the rich history of New York City. The tour starts from the Battery Park, where you will see from a distance the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island (and learn how geography has a destiny), then makes its way through Wall Street and the Financial District, a visit to the 9/11 memorial and ending up near City Hall. At the end of the tour we will be near the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, another piece of history and the beginning of a story which will make New York capital of the world!
