The Statue of Liberty is one of the most iconic images of freedom, a modern marvel and an engineering feat. She’s also astonishingly beautiful! A gift from France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Lady Liberty has been a symbol of democracy and hope since 1886. On this tour, you will discover the historical importance of “Liberty Enlightening the World”, as she’s officially called, and get up close and personal with this famous icon. We will access the Statue's pedestal for a close-up view of its inner structure and enjoy a guided visit to the Liberty museum and the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island.
