Historic Brooklyn Tour

Historic Brooklyn Tour

The tour begins at City Hall Park, near the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s a full mile across the bridge, a unique opportunity to capture scenic photographs of Manhattan, Brooklyn and New York Harbor. At the arrival on the Brooklyn side we will explore the waterfront side of DUMBO. Once a manufacturing and industrial district, the area was remade in the late 20th century into an upscale residential and commercial community. A short walk away lays Brooklyn Heights, a historic and landmark district, filled with interesting history and architecture. From the promenade, we will then walk down to the Brooklyn Bridge Park to the Fulton Ferry Landing where a ferry ride on the East River Ferry will take you to Manhattan.
